SQUIRREL Good morning, I’ve left this activity out ready for my son to try later. I’ve printed off little playdough mats/counting mats to support counting and number recognition. I didn’t have any acorns here but have used these beautiful natural items from @graspandgather . I would also add to this set up, wooden numbers so they can be matched with the correct number of objects. I wanted this simple to see if he could match the same number of objects to the acorns on the paper plus locate the number on the number line. There is an option to mark make in the box but this isn’t the aim of this activity. Check out other members of the team for more play ideas, there are so many! @mummylouwithlilyandwillowtoo @roseandvioletmama @claire_jeffery81 @amythislittlelife @beckys_treasure_baskets @theconstantdaydreamer @printplaylearn @mama.smith.to2 @oursensorykids @brightbuttonschildminding @entertaining_elsie @mygirlsmake @mayasmoonplay @something.sensory @mumtomessyboys @letsplaymama @childcare_adventures
