Reindeer So yesterday the word prompt was reindeer. I’ve printed off some little scissor practice sheets. I’m using this with my son as he is able to hold small scissors and cut. I wouldn’t rush to use scissors and paper until children have had experience of using scissors for other activities to build up their hand muscles. For example food is amazing for practising cutting, herbs or cooked spaghetti. I use playdough a lot and build hand strength but rolling the playdough then chopping it up.
