Salt Dough • we made salt dough letters (+numbers) using this recipe: 1/2 cup salt 1/2 cup of water + 1 cup of flour. Mix together until forms a dough, shape as you wish! We only made a few letters using alphabet cutters; you could make them freehand into your own letters but this is a great way to have a set to play with at home. These were quite small so only took an hour to dry in the over at 120 degrees. Once they were cool he painted them. Great for a sorting activity, letter + name recognition, matching.. How would you use the salt dough letters? This recipe is in my Phonics + Play Dough Play Pack available for purchase at harrietandviolet.com perfect for supporting teachers in schools. . . . . . .
