Play dough ~ chop it! A great way to build little hand muscles. Rolling play dough and then cutting using scissors. I used these with my son but there are plastic blade scissors available and they work really well at cutting play dough. Try cutting out different shapes, dough is easier to move than paper. A great way to extend this activity by measuring the lengths of play dough, using vocabulary such as thin + thick or just counting how many bits have been chopped.
