Phonics Game // A great game to play is 🏓Ping Pong: (ping pong balls super cheap from @amazon_uk ) use a water tray/tub, write single sounds onto ping pong balls, children can enjoy scooping them them out, saying the sounds. Extend the game by using objects to match the initial sound 🏓 Initial sounds phase 2 from letters and sounds. Before teaching phonics children learn to listen, play sounds, songs and rhymes. Next they learn phonic sounds, the initial sound is the first letter of a word. These flashcards are available on @tesresources .
