Play Dough Press ~ A quick activity to set up. You need play dough, letters to push into the dough, objects or flashcards of CVC words. Once the letters have been pushed in children could colour the dough to make the word stand out or rub glitter into them. This could be changed to use salt dough so they words can be kept or children could make their names. Lots of variations.

Play dough butterflies this activity has endless possibilities, children can create their own butterfly with different patterns. Just a simple pipe cleaner to form the base of the butterfly, decorations with sequins, beads + jewels. If I was going to do this with a group of children I would have a range of play dough colours so that the creations they make would be more individual.

Recycled bottles // you don’t need any fancy equipment for water play. Rex is happy with plastic bottles for pouring and mixing.

Magic Potion Glitter + sparkles added to water with a tiny bit of Brusho to colour the water (may have added too much as we had blue hands!). A great way to add some sparkle to the water play. I know it’s raining but you can still enjoy the outside.
