Stickers we love stickers! Especially the foam ones. It’s a great fine motor activity and helps develop that pincer grip. Instead of placing stickers in a flat surface use a range of surfaces to try.

Pumpkin Painting we have been decorating a pumpkin and my son chose what he wanted to do, paint it red and add stickers and glitter. Not as stylish as the amazing ones on Instagram but it’s great for children to be creative!

Maternity Leave ️I’m actually going to take some time on to rest and enjoy my new baby. ️The website is all up and running and the teaching printables are easy to download still. I’m sure I’ll be checking my emails occasionally so if you need anything just shout. I’ll be on instagram using my personal account @mostlymother so see updates on there.

Stamping + cutting ~ I love watching him try out different ways of mark making. At the moment every picture gets cut up. How do you display children’s art work at home? The fridge can’t take anymore paper! I was thinking a little frame for a small piece. I’m also thinking of adding some art ideas to my website, I need to expand my creativity lol. I did a lot of printing + textiles so will explore how to make these activities child friendly.

Foam play dough ~ we tried to make it but it was a complete fail. Instead we have fun just squirting shaving foam and mixing it with corn flour. Next time I’ll need to try more accurate measurements. Blog post up soon
