Do you need an activity to do with your child?Try making some play dough – recipe in the bio. Not as tricky as you think and if you use the uncooked recipe it can be made with your child. Once the play dough is made it can last for over a month, keep it in a sealed bag, or pop in the fridge – a super sensory experience. I’ll keep sharing ideas of what you can do with the play dough on here! . . . . . . .
• Play Play Play • Now schools have finished it’s time to have the children at home. What will you be doing this holiday? If you’re stuck for ideas for ideas have a look at my blog. Link in bio. One thing to try today would be a play dough or salt dough recipe. I’ll pop some recipes + ideas in my stories from my Play Dough Play Pack. . . . . . . . .
Christmas Letters ~ this super postbox set was from Tiger (thanks @nurturingmums). If you didn’t want to purchase one, use an empty box (tea boxes work well) and cut a hole to create a postbox. Set up a table with stamps, hole punches, pencils, stickers, paper and envelopes. Children can drawn or write + post their letters to Father Christmas. It might seem an obvious activity but my son loved spending ages playing with this. Simple is often the best. Oh and harrietandviolet.com has a range of paper to download with Christmas borders to use for paper. Happy Playing!

Independent Play – I’m so pleased that he is loving to play independently. It’s tricky feeding a newborn and being on the floor to build something. He went to the cupboard found the stickle bricks and made a tractor with a spare wheel. Love watching him and seeing him use his imagination.
